How I spent my summer vacation

I have two blogs: one on my first and inspirational site, and the other on my newest site dedicated to writing. Both have been quiet for a few months, as I have been. With good reason.

I won’t do that!
I’ve seen a lot of people via social media and sites I subscribe to begin their status or emails with, “I know I’ve been quiet the past few (fill-in-the-blank)…” I vowed I would not be one of them; however, here I am stating the same thing. It is said that misery loves company, and although I wasn’t really miserable, I was silent.

Years have passed, nearly five, in fact, since learning I was to leave the corporate world. I made the decision before the sentence came down that no matter what, however, I would be happy, fulfilled, and content with my life.  What I hadn’t counted on was the continual change with regards to the directions I’d be led in--down paths of unhappiness, unfulfillment, and discontent.

The road traveled.
Now before you feel sorry for me, let me say I would do it and have those feelings all over again. They took me on a journey to where I am today---back to the place of happiness, fulfillment, and contentment.

Transition sucks. But without it you remain in a rut, stuck in the mud and mire of your ho-hum life wondering what’s next, when will things get better, and asking what in the world am I doing here.

Taking the time to figure it all out.
The silence maintained in my blogs and social media presence has granted the permission I needed in order to follow my own heart. I’m a certified Dream Coach® and have assisted many clients to manifest in their lives what they’ve dreamed of. I should be able to do that for myself, right?

Of course, right.

And so I have.

A new beginning.
I am rewriting my business, rebranding what I do, and re-establishing the happiness, fulfillment, and contentment within in my life.

I have let go of the stuff that no longer serves me. I have let in new opportunities. And I have let the field of possibility grow.

I’ve always loved to write. And for the last five years, I’ve been writing almost daily—sometimes a lot, other times not so much. But words are being logged that are coming directly from my thoughts. And those thoughts, as I encourage my clients to do, are written as they occur and not edited in any way. This practice brings about the purest form of not only who you are, but also listening while your soul is speaking to you.

If you are new to my writings, please hang out here for as long as you wish, looking over my other posts. The offers on this site remain in effect. And then, when you’re ready pop on over to my new site.

If you are an old friend, please follow me tomorrow over at my new digs. I’m very excited to be on this adventure with you.
To your writing success,

Finding the missing piece of the puzzle

Day 21 – Pause and Reflect (Part 2 - cause & effect)

During the time of taking this course, I am building an in-person women’s network within my community. The sheer brilliance of taking something out of nothing, or rather, an idea—or is it original substance—and seeing it unfold much as is described in Mr. Wattles writings is astonishing!

You see, I dreamed of leading workshops across the country and, perhaps, abroad; however, not in my own backyard. But when opportunity knocks, takes me by the hand, and leads me to the edge of the cliff, I tend to jump.

I rarely, if ever, think of falling or drowning. I think of how to soar, flying to new heights never before reached!

Thoughts immediately change into strategies that occupy my mind. I begin to take action. I learn more of what I must do to accomplish this great feat. I take each corner and edge piece to connect the outer perimeter, to give me the outline from which the interior of the puzzle pieces will be interlocked.

Nancy Matthews, The Visionary with Guts, developed a course, Receive Your Riches, based on the path she followed while putting The Science of Getting Rich into action. You are reading my journalism assignment.

I have a plan. All the red flower pieces go in this pile for now. All the yellow pieces in another. The tree pieces will go up here, and the water pieces will be placed down here.

From within each of the piles, the red and yellows will fit together nicely; as will the tree and water pieces. Once together they will form the overall picture.

The puzzle metaphor actually describes every project I’ve worked on since becoming self-employed, an entrepreneur. Putting together a puzzle, no matter how many pieces, is done methodically and in groupings; it’s not completed in one swoop; there is definitely a science to completing the picture.

What puzzle are you working on? I’d love to hear about it.

To your success,
PeggyLee

“Original substance moves according to its thoughts; every form and process you see in nature is the visible expression of a thought in original substance. As the formless stuff thinks of a form, it takes that form; as it thinks of a motion, it makes that motion. That is the way all things were created.” ~W.D. Wattles

“In order to get rich you do not need a “sweet hour of prayer;” you need to “pray without ceasing.” And by prayer I mean holding steadily to your vision, with the purpose to cause its creation into solid form, and the faith that you are doing so.” The Science of Getting Rich, p.32

Day 20 – Pause and Reflect (Part 1)

You see, I have a dream.

My dream is to live a life of luxury as I define it; having the time to do anything I want, to go anywhere I want, where money is never an issue.

I am financially free and have more money than I know what to do with!

In exchange, I help others realize that they can make their dreams come true and be truly happy in their life, every single day of it.

I lead personal transition workshops.

I am a syndicated columnist.

I am a best-selling author of self-help, self-development books.

A few of the items above have come true for me; the others I’m working continuously on. But the main point of my dream, to live a life of luxury as I define it, is my daily mantra.

And with that said, I wonder how much more specific I need in order to really achieve that. Is it enough that I know deep inside what my definition of luxury is, or is more specificity required?

Nancy Matthews, The Visionary with Guts, developed a course, Receive Your Riches, based on the path she followed while putting The Science of Getting Rich into action. You are reading my journalism assignment.

When I made the list of my wants when reaching the age of 55, I was not specific of how it came to be in having a profitable business where I worked out of my home or what type of business it would be. Perhaps, it didn’t really matter?

Well, of course it mattered. The business had to be one that I loved being involved in, reflected my personality, assisted in the personal growth and perhaps professional development of my constituents, and the last piece, be profitable enough to make my husband the kept man he deserves to be!

My vision has since become clearer.

I see myself standing on a stage in an auditorium with every seat occupied talking about trusting transition, which you are going through the changes because it is the path along your journey toward happiness, success, joy, peace, and love.

I get paid very well for what I love to do: speaking, writing, and sharing my life experiences so that you know you are not alone in yours or thoughts and feelings. I have been where you are and I am there with you now.

I travel the world with my husband sharing my message, my blessing, my purpose of wrapping lost souls in the warmth of sunshine, and help guide their way.

Yes, this is my dream; this is what I’m meant to do. I feel it in my heart, body, and soul.

I believe in me. I believe in you. I believe dreams come true.

To your success,
PeggyLee
“Once you have clearly formed your vision, the whole matter turns on receiving. When you have formed it, it is well to make an oral statement, addressing the supreme in gratitude. Then, from that moment on you must, in mind, receive what you ask for.” ~W.D. Wattles
