When I first heard someone say this a few years ago I thought they must be crazy! What?! Go toward my fears and face them head on? Why on earth would I do that?
After being thrown into a life-transition event by the company I used to be employed with, I now understand why running to what frightens me the most can be life-changing.
What scares you the most? What are you afraid to face? What if you moved toward the fear?
I can tell you that when you have a face-to-face chat with the unknown, the scary, what you discover in that conversation may not be so frightful after all. You may even find opportunity in the wings that hold the dark.
I can also tell you every day a new fear can enter; move toward it; have a conversation with it; ask Why are you here? What are you here to teach me? What do you want me to share?
This is how you will gain freedom from your fears. Still scared? Want someone to help walk that path with you? Let’s talk.
“I believe that anyone can conquer fear by doing the things he fears to do, provided he keeps doing them until he gets a record of successful experience behind him.”
p.s There's still time to register for my presentation of secrets to self-transformation and being richly self-employed.
