My Toastmasters club’s name is Eclectic Image, and it defines its members to a tee! The people comprised of this group are married, divorced, widowed, single, male, female, over forty, under forty with one commonality: we all love to talk! But we also love the friendship and leadership aspect of the group, too.
Last evening I attended the advanced club meeting, hearing a speech about connectedness; how we all are tied together just by being here on this earth. Amazing concept, is it not? I think so, too!
A while ago I wrote about a book that a friend had given me (read the post here) called “Strengths Finder 2.0.” After taking the online test, the results returned showed that my strongest strength is connectedness. The other top four were (in order): learner, intellection, positivity, and relator. To me, these attributes sound eclectic all by themselves!
Have you taken a personality test lately? What were your results? How did you feel about the outcome? Were there surprises? I’d be interested to hear your results.
“The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; if there is any reaction, both are transformed.” ~Carl Gustav Jung
