This question was recently posed to me and the following was, in part, my response.
I believe you must first believe in yourself, that you can attain the dreams of your life; for if you cannot, how can you expect to achieve them or others to believe?
Secondly, define the constrictions you speak of and who is imposing them --this answer may indeed surprise you.
Next, I suggest to research the lives of those who accomplished what you seek; study and emulate what they did. Are you now doing in any way, shape, or form what you want to be doing? If yes -- fantastic! Keep up the great work! If no -- why not? Sometimes we think it's our surroundings and the people in them who stop us from what we want, when it really is us who stops our dreams.
I can say this because I experienced it firsthand. Once I began to believe in myself, others did too and the support seems infinite. And also, once I began to act on my dream, no matter how small or large the step, the world began to open itself up to greet me. I've met the most amazing people in my journey that helped me get where I am today!
Does this help you in any way? Can you perceive a step of any size toward your dream that can easily be accomplished? In a week? If so, write the step down right now before you forget. When you do, I know the forces of the Universe will step up to meet you in ways beyond imagination!
Have a wonderfully blessed day and Dream On!
p.s. I am pleased to announce that I'm part of a short interview series with six other amazing visionaries, Coffee with Soul, beginning with me on April 9, 2012, discussing how changes in your life can actually lead to dreams fulfilled. Check it out and join me here.
