Remember David Cassidy singing, “C’mon, get happy?”
I can’t get this song out of my head today. It may have something to do with a new program I’m launching, but more so, it’s because where I am at in my own business and personal state of affairs.
I read on someone’s Facebook page the other day how she will now be devoting 110% to her business efforts, and it got me to thinking, “Where’s the balance in that?” If I put in 26.4-hour days, there wouldn’t be time for family or for fun. Who would want that? Certainly, not me; but I do understand what she meant.
What about you? Are you too busy with your business or work that you don’t have time to play, to be happy, to take some down time? Do you devote a lot of your time in making others happy before yourself? Not sure how you can accomplish such a feat?
Well, the first thing I suggest is to take a deep breath – in fact, several! Close your eyes while you take the air into your lungs through your nose and expel it through your mouth, making a sound on the exhale. Go ahead right now; stop reading and try this technique. Again; do the breathing exercise three times.
How do you feel? Please share below.
This breathing method allows you to disconnect from the rat race and reconnect with what’s important to you. Perhaps, it’s a little breathing room (pun intended); or maybe the break will put you a bit more at ease or allow a new idea to enter, or better still, a new solution to that nagging problem you’ve had all morning long!
Seriously! When will you take the steps to make you happy first before anyone else? You do believe in your happiness first, right? Maybe the issue is not knowing how to make yourself happy.
Imagine whistling like the Seven Dwarves as they Hi-Ho it’s off to work they go. Imagine your work getting completed easily and effortlessly all because you’re happy. Imagine that you no longer have to put in long tiring hours to make one thin dime. And more importantly, imagine being able to sleep at night because you are extremely elated having no worries of no time or no money to do the things you love and want to do.
If you look here, you will find I talk about realizing a dream of yours; however, that may not be as important to you right now as wanting to be happy. But the point is if you could live life your way, wouldn’t it be worth getting a few new ideas or tools in your pocket so you can be both happy in life or profitable in business?
Even if you don’t peruse the “Finding Inner Happiness” webinar links, you have a new tool to use from this point forward: the breathing exercise to put you back in relationship to your Self.
Yet, if you had chosen to view the webnar page, I hope you strongly consider joining me for the class. You will get so much more out of it than what is listed as benefits and ECSTASY. The reason I say this is because I was recently featured by a fellow blogger, Mary Joyce. She listened to a teleseminar I did back in April. In the prologue of her blog, Mary described how I helped her; a point that was not originally featured in my promo copy.
I often find this to be true; when people listen to my teleseminars or live speeches, they always come away with a golden nugget that will exclusively help them. Even those who read my blog and subscribe to my newsletter often write of their experiences, too. Makes my skin tingle each time they share with me.
So, whatever you do today, this weekend, or next week, do something that will make YOU happy. If you need a little extra help in that department, I’d love to have you join my webinar; it begins in a few weeks.
"Hello, world, here's a song that we're singin', c'mon get happy
A whole lotta lovin' is what we'll be bringin', we'll make you happy
We had a dream we'd go trav'lin' together
We'd spread a little lovin then we'd keep movin' on
Somethin' always happens whenever we're together
We get a happy feelin' when we're singin' a song..."
~The Partridge Family - "C'mon Get Happy" lyrics
