The other day I heard the words
"Take action out of love."
I had been astonished to see
All the things I had not.
I was writing from a place of need
Perhaps alienating those I treasure most.
For that I am forever sorry
Ever more saddened by the perceived result.
Love cannot survive when trumped
By wont and greedy expectations.
Making amends is now by far
On the other end of the world.
Much work to be accomplished
Bridging that gap far and wide.
Alexander Pope said "hope springs eternal,
"The soul uneasy...rests...in a life to come."
Isn't the accompanying photo stunning? It signifies the beauty of this world and how blessed we are to receive all that it has to offer. The coolest thing about this photo is that it was chosen well after i forgot what my title to this post was!
"Inner reflection revisited."
Some things just have no explanation except for that we are in alignment with the world, the universe, with friends and family, and most especially, with ourselves.
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the most bitter.” ~ Confucius
