Today is October 25 and the morning has been filled with thunder and rainfall. It’s not yet six o’clock and the darkness still abounds. There’s an old farmer’s <tale> that says six months after the last thunder is heard is when the crops should be planted the following spring.
The thought just came to me of what if we could put a platitude in place such as this for our daily life or business? When such-and-such happens, then six months—four months, or two months—later we would do this-and-that.
What would your such-and-this-and-that be?
I’m thinking about my own answer to this question. The first thought that came to mind was the this-and-that, the end product with product being the operative word. I’d develop a strong program, perhaps a week-long workshop for the personal growth of my followers. I would need a good six months to create it!
The second this-and-that which came to mind was writing another book; this one would go much deeper into the Self to help my readers gain and increase self-confidence, self-love, self-worthiness, and self-esteem—much like I’m doing now.
So why couldn’t I accomplish both writing the book and creating the workshop? Let’s see; six months from today would be…November, December, January, February, March… APRIL 25.
Oh my gosh! All sorts of ideas are beginning to surface! And so are the doubts; however, I know how to respond to their foreboding questions!
Could you really create enough content for seven full days? Who says I have to present the entire workshop myself? I would bring in a few of my mentors and fellow coaches to present their expertise; after all, it’s how I grew.
You don’t live in a big city! No; but I’m only 45 minutes away from the Mall of America—now how’s THAT for a venue!
Could you really pull this off? There is every reason to believe I can, yes!
What about your book? When will you have time write it if you’re planning a big gig? I will need the distraction of a second fiddle; a book is the perfect avenue.
I won’t continue with the Doubting Thomas in my head, but you can get a sense of how I quiet my limiting beliefs and doubts.
As bold as this is to put it in writing and share across the world, the universe now has the premise; backspacing the characters will not deter the force of motion I just put forth. In the back of my mind, the thoughts have been milling around that there is something bigger on my plate.
I think the flat-line and the hum has gone into a full-speed-ahead! I’ll keep you posted!
Tell me; would you be interested in an offering such as this one, and what would you like to drink in during that time?
To your success,
PeggyLee
