“There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life — and that desire is praiseworthy. The person who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the person who does not desire to have money enough to buy all he wants is abnormal.” ~The Science of Getting Rich, p.11
“While studying and applying the principles in this book, has anything of significance happened from out of the blue?”
This is the question to ponder for the second day of reflection, taking in account the ten chapters read thus far.
As I take time to think back, yes, there are many items of significance that occurred.
Letting go of what does not serve me. I recently had a situation that terribly upset me where I did not understand how a few could act so selfishly. Even though I knew before how to process my feelings to get past it all, reading the first few chapters of this book really solidified that I need not concern myself with their actions. It was none of my business; plus, it was necessary to only pay attention to what I did. Like water off a duck’s back.
Remaining in a continued sense of calm. I know the path I’m on is leading me to the success and fulfillment of my dreams, to my becoming rich. I am in a constant state of creation with ideas of new books and programs to aid in the success and fulfillment of the dreams my constituents have. Those ideas will soon be put to paper.
What are your successes achieved when applying principles you’ve incorporated? I’d love to hear about them.
To your success,
“What God wants is that you should make the most of yourself, for yourself, and for others. And you can help others more by making the most of yourself than in any other way.” ~W.D. Wattles
