Thank you, thank you, thank you. (I’m bowing and blowing kisses to you all!)
Before sitting down for a weekend of devoted and focused writing, I gathered all my notes and files I thought would be helpful. Because of grabbing a spot during the extra-special registration—yes, it was a fee-paid guided weekend—I was lucky enough to receive one-on-one attention given to my copy (all that I wrote). Awesome!
So, where was I… oh, yes… focused writing.
When it was time to flesh out the first few chapters, I began writing in my usual style. Eleven hundred words later, I turned in my copy to the leader who was pleased, yet had a few suggestions. The main one, however, gave me pause; it was suggested to take the focus off what I’ve been through and make it more about the reader and what they are experiencing. Huh.
Thinking…. thinking….. thinking.
I was okay with this! Actually, I had been thinking along those same lines, too. I need to get away from my story to focus on the solutions for my readers—much like I hope to do with my blog and newsletters.
Writing... writing.... writing.
Two days of nearly straight writing, the words kept pouring from head through my fingers showing up on the screen; I had nearly five thousand words! AWE-SOME!
To those wanna-be authors out there: IF I CAN DO THIS—YOU CAN TOO!!
This last week was spent fine tuning copy, putting it into a working PDF (clickable links), building web pages, and creating email campaigns.
The end result? Click on the book cover image in the upper left corner to grab your copy; it’s FREE in exchange for your name and email address. Plus there’s a whole lot more inside you can access for no cost as well.
Why would you want to read about acceptance? What you have read to this point would not have happened had it not been for the lessons learned and shared in “The Acceptance Factor: To Serenity and Beyond.”
This ebook is also a way to express my gratitude and appreciation for everything and everyone in my life. Accepting the good, the bad, and the ugly has its merits and more rewards than can be expressed.
Enjoy and here’s to your success.
