What’s in store for your tomorrow? Will you let the fear of the thirteenth stop you? What scares you the most of moving forward?
Amazingly enough, what stops us is the fear of the unknown. But if we moved toward that unknown – and get past it, we just might be pleasantly surprised and rewarded at the outcome.
I’m working at making my posts “evergreen,” however, this past week I’ve had the pleasure and honor to speak to, and with, many people via the world wide web. You can imagine the hugely unknown factor involved. But as nervous as I was in my preparation, I am personally richly rewarded for my effort. How? I have the sense of accomplishment; I have stepped out and away from my comfort zone, my safety net; and I have new listeners and readers in my fold.
How can you become richly rewarded? Where can you go to receive them? What might be the smallest of next steps you can take to gain those riches?
What are you waiting for? Just do it!
“For a person to build a rich and rewarding life for himself, there are certain qualities and bits of knowledge that he needs to acquire. There are also things, harmful attitudes, superstitions, and emotions that he needs to chip away. A person needs to chip away everything that doesn't look like the person he or she most wants to become.”
