You see, I was a bit under the weather yesterday and am not quite sure what caused my demise. I asked myself a few serious questions that were, perhaps, valued more than $64,000; time will tell. Question 1) Are you really not feeling well? Question 2) Just how afraid are you in stepping out of your comfort zone? and Question 3) If you take the day as is and accept that you're feeling crappy, will you get up tomorrow and be in integrity with yourself and do exactly what you said you would do the day before?
OK; that last question was all the kick in the pants I needed. The previous two certainly were in the mix to consider; however, I've asked, and answered, them many times before.
"Yes, I really am not feeling well," and "You bet I'm scared, but I must step into the world where I want to be and play in."
The response to the third question has most always been, "Let me feel what I am feeling and work through any issues I could possibly have; then in the morning, I will be able to start the day anew with the freshest sense of intention and integrity to manifest my dreams."
So, on this third day of the $64,000 question, I am happy to report that my to-do list is complete. (You can read about the list here.) Here is an update: Mailed my sister the book; visited the employment office, except no one was there, along with a big sign that said "No Soliciting;" the church, however, there was someone there who took my information (a copy of my book and the proposed workshop outline), placing it in the parish priest's office.
It's a start and why I woke up this morning writing on my Facebook wall, "I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself." And the best thing? I still feel that way tonight.
How do you get through a day of the blahs or just plain not feeling up to par? What do you do? I'd love to hear from you.
Have a wonderful afternoon and Dream On!
