"I lost my job..."
"A Woman of Substance"

Debbie mentioned that she never thought of herself as a writer, but she penned a diary of sorts about how she, as a grandmother was thrown into the role of mother when her daughter had been deployed to Afghanistan.
Knowing she had a story, a message, an opportunity to capitalize on it all plus help millions of grandparents who were experiencing the same situation, I along with a group of counterparts encouraged her to take her book to get it published. Within a short time, Debbie created GrandparentsBeingParents.
Several months passed and one day I received an unexpected call from Debbie. Well, what a whirlwind she's been on these past few months. She considered a second book and literally dreaming of speaking with her daughter and granddaughters on stage. But she just wasn't sure how all this was going to come about. We also talked about how it takes time to begin a business or an ideal to get it off the ground or exposed.
By the time our conversation ended Debbie knew she was meant to write that second book using the layout I proposed. She was so grateful for our talk that she sent me the following testimonial:
"I just wanted to share with you how much your coaching helped me realize how important it was for me to write a book. I have been struggling with what path to take and your coaching allowed me to recognize which path to take. I now feel so much calmer."
The next day my phone rings again with Debbie on the other end.
"I just have to call and tell you what I got in my email this morning!" she began. It was an invitation to do a LIVE interview on a local California radio station!
Plus while we were talking Debbie received another email, this time from the National Guard's magazine saying they would like to meet with her. How much has happened since saying to me, "I wrote this book..."

Mentorship by the Hour
Debbie is one of many who took action and believed in their dreams. Of course, believing can be the hardest asset of a dream venture, especially if it is much bigger than we are; however, it can be accomplished!
And because of that, achieving a dream can also be confusing to the point of feeling paralyzed as Debbie had been. She wanted to move forward but didn't know how or where to begin.
With me as your mentor you gain insight on how best to approach your dream. Mentoring is like having a support person, someone who you can say anything to, be totally open and honest with, without worry of sounding silly or far-fetched.
You will gain peace, direction, and like Debbie, clarity as well. As you discuss your dream or goal, sometimes a surprise or two can be discovered, either by you or your mentor.
If you only have an hour, no worries. Clients who work with me receive enough guidance to take their next step toward their dream.
If perhaps you discover more time is needed, we can work together on a plan. My first and only concern is that you get what you came to get! Sign up with me and you will also receive my twice-a-month newsletter filled with fantastic resources and articles.
Why me and not someone else? Because I've been where you are now. I know what it takes and the people to talk with. I know how to remove the lead boots in order to take steps forward with ease. And once a client, always a friend.
